Conditions of Use

Informal community use of the playing fields will continue to be regulated to ensure that the school fully upholds its statutory requirements, and in order to do so the school asks those using it to be aware and abide by the following restrictions of use:

• no dogs;

• no horses;

• no motor vehicles (including motorcycles) except maintenance vehicles;

• no golf;

• no cycling or scooters especially on the cricket strip;

• no model aircraft or drones without written permission of the school;

• no barbecues;

• no alcohol;

• no smoking;

• no organised events, training or large groups without the written permission of the School. 

 

Our grounds contractors will be regularly cutting the grass so that the maintained facilities can be enjoyed by all. During these times public access will not be allowed. Please help us to keep everyone safe, and leave the site if asked to do so. 

 

Cotham School playing fields are available to be formally booked by sports clubs and other organisations seeking access to sports facilities, do please contact the school via lettings@cotham.bristol.sch.uk for more information, to find out about our fees and the facilities available.
